Well deviation

Well deviation
is well drifting during the process of drilling from the specified direction caused by geological conditions, specifics of a drilling technology and process conditions. The magnitude of well deviation is determined by an inclinometer (a device for measuring an inclination angle and azimuth of well deviation in order to control its three-dimensional position). It may reach several meters.
